![]() Denise Andrew Denise Andrews, a native of Miami, Florida, is an independent curator, art historian, and an advocate of the arts. Ms. Andrews recently completed three exhibitions of African and African-American art at the main gallery of the Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami, Fla. Ms. Andrews is founder and president of the African Diaspora Fine Arts Committee (ADFAC). ADFACs mission is to provide a vehicle to exchange information about the creative talent and skill among artists of the African Diaspora in South Florida. She is a member and director of Fifty over Fifty Inc., a non-profit grantmaking organization dedicated to supporting cultural organizations and institutions. Ms. Andrews is also an amateur photographer. Her works have been exhibited in the Duke Ellington Art Gallery in Washington, D.C. A divorced mother of three children, she currently lives in Coconut Grove, Florida with her youngest son. Home |
