![]() Paul S. George Paul S. George is a native Miamian who holds the Ph.D. degree in History from the Florida State University. He is presently an Associate Professor Senior at Miami-Dade Community College, Wolfson, and Historian to the Historical Association of Southern Florida. Dr. George has authored eight books and more than one hundred articles and book reviews. He has served as president of the Florida Historical Society, vice chair of the City of Miami's Heritage Conservation Board, executive director of the Historic Broward County preservation Board, and president of the Louis Wolfson II Media History Center, among other affiliations. Paul S. George holds the Arthur Hertz Chair at Miami-Dade Community College, and was selected as the College's outstanding professor for the school year 1994-1995. He is perhaps best known for his historic tours of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties. Home |
