The Kislak Foundation exists to share the wealth of its collections with historians, scholars, students, art lovers and others interested in the history of the Americas. The Kislak Foundation gallery is open to visitors by appointment, free of charge. Works from the collection are also loaned to other museums and libraries.

Historians at a variety of educational and cultural institutions use Kislak collections on a regular basis for scholarly research. In cooperation with Florida International University, the Foundation sponsors a prize program that recognizes university level research on aspects of Florida or Caribbean history, anthropology or archaeology before 1898.

For younger students, the Kislak Foundation provides school
tours and other educational programming in partnership with
Miami-Dade Public Schools' Museum Education Program. For more
information about tours and other educational programs, please
