Sponsored Research Program
The Kislak Research Fellows grant program supports scholarly research with the potential for contributing significantly to the understanding of ancient and modern Florida, Mesoamerica and the circum-Caribbean region, including Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and the Caribbean Basin.

The Foundation supports research projects in the disciplines of archaeology, art history, epigraphy, linguistics, ethno-history, ethnography and sociology. We encourage interdisciplinary projects, especially those that combine disciplines in novel and potentially productive ways. Grants are awarded to the most qualified scholars regardless of degree level, although the Foundation favors degree candidates, recent graduates and professionals.

Research fellowships are by invitation only and in most cases are based on specific aspects of the Kislak collection.
